Arrival in Kratie

Visit pagoda Wat Roka Kandal at Mekong (19th century). Late afternoon drive to Kampi-Pool (Mekong). Watch Irrawaddy dolphins (by boat). Return to Kratie City.

Irrawaddy Dolphins

Morning. Second visit to Kampi for dolphin watching. On return visit hill pagoda Phnom Sambok. Go up to viewing point over Mekong River. Afternoon. Visit Museum in Kratie City about old Khmer Kingdom (7th century). Drive to wicker-work village Chheu Tiel Ploch Leu 30 km south of Kratie City. This village is inhabited by a Muslim Cham minority. On the way from / to Phnom Penh the road leads through rubber plantations (driving to and back from Kratie is not included).
